Seeing Improvements!

Its always one thing or another ya know. Now that my dry skin on my face is doing a 180(looking so soft and smooth)my hands are chapped as hell. I will say its partly my fault not using my lotions after I wash but I always find myself opening bottles or putting something in my mouth and I can taste the scent of the floral lotions. HAHA. After much consideration, I will give my l'occitane a break(even though I love ya)Im going to buy a different brand that smells more like medicine.HAHA. I'd almost get something from Bigelow but I don't have anything else to get there so that would be silly...

My scalp, hair and face have done a 180 and now my hands are chapped and I have this awful allergy so does everyone else in this area it seems.HAHA. Im not a fan of taking medicine so I will go at it the natural way: dabbing some of the scented oils for the sniffles. The oil smells so good I save it for the bad days. Im just about done with my go to lipstick and just got myself a tube of another brand I always wanted to try! Super excited about that. I always dab on some chapstick after the lip scrub and I don't have the dry patches anymore. I really love the organic one my friend got me. It smells nice and the jar is a work of art. HAHA. Got myself a couple new brands of nail polish too. Im pretty amazed with how good they are about not chipping! It was one of those hmm I'll try what everyone is raving about items. I will be giving our family friend some nail polishes soon.HAHA. Gotta downsize. I have 2 I'm trying to get and now that I have a crapload of my cool Revlon parfumerie ones, gotta downsize some.

Im really impressed with a lot of the drugstore brand goodies. Some brands always break me out. Wont say which brands but 2 brands to be exact. I am so funny about the brands I remind my friends to put a little on their arm and see what happens. Friends don't let friends have allergic reactions. Not only is it painful it can be sad to look at. Anyway most of the products involve sunblock or recovery ingredients. That's what I've figured out. L'oreal and Revlon are GREAT on my sensitive skin. I LOVE L'oreal. The past few years L'oreal has really put out some amazing products out. The true match foundation, the lumi series(I own the liquid luminizer, the lumi powder)their bb is great too. If I wasn't looking for heavier coverage I'd buy their bb cream ANNND Im definitely getting their new cushion compact!

Im just tired of looking washed out by choosing wrong items so thank god for L'oreal. Savior for those of us, pale pasty people!

Mastering the Golden Glow

This is something I tried for the first time and it worked wonders. Its very simple. If you were someone always trying to get an effortless beautiful glow-try using Laura mercier tinted moisturizer blend it with a lighter bb cream wait a couple minutes then lightly brush on some of the L'oreal lumi powder in gold I think thats the darkest one. Amazing results. I think it also helps that I exfoliated today! Im getting close to empty and it makes me sad. Im cutting major budget to try new things though! My friend and I had this item we wanted to try and Im getting ready to do that soon. More on that later.


Thinking about what to get at starbucks today...hmmm. Possibly something spicy like chai or something that involves cinnamon.

I Love These!

Im currently using these beauties! Im using both the day and night cream from Clarins and the L'oreal Lumi powder. I don't know the number I just know the powder is similar to the more pricey brands I was eyeing and its a compact. To me that's a win-win. So I said goodbye to Bobbi and Laura I mean I'd rather pay 12-13 bucks than 42 bucks. Lucky for me between the weekend and now I've been coming across deals. This week would've been perfect if I hadn't made one boo boo. HAHA.

My friend just got me some cool lip balms so I have that in my bag. Perfect for the cold winter!

Real Classy, Leo.

How rude was Leo when gaga went to accept her award? I always thought he was nice. Real classy making fun of another charitable person. I think had she been a bad person it would make a little more sense but they both do a lot of charity and you would think he would have some respect for her. Hmm. As a teen, I loved him in Romeo and Juliet and I always thought he never got the respect some actors did and I was just saying either he or Matt Damon should win something this year...and he pulls off that crap! Shame!

Changing the subject, in  the past few weeks, Adele's song has been growing on me. I never thought I'd be her fan again but I like that other song, not Hello but the other one. I also started listening to the older stuff. I always thought she was pretty even when she was heavier. She always dressed cute.
Speaking of songs, that one girl that whines about being at a party forever...ugh. Just don't play it anymore. Its awful. Its Emeli Sande Next to me bad. That song is just a headache. You know its bad when the Gwen Stefani repetitive song is better. I love Gwen but that new song of hers is bad not as bad as the unhappy partygoer song.
One of those songs that can really ruin your fun day. HAHAHA.

Today is nice out still ridiculously cold so maybe i'll make myself some coffee. Just having a really good day! This year has been really good. My older friend from school basically said "thank god you came to your senses and moved back that's where you vacation not live" and as surprised as I was she may be right. She was like you need to move back home to Japan.HAHA. Indeed.
My family's there so its always on my mind....who knows what tomorrow brings. There are great things about the states, great things about Japan. I can't believe I haven't gone back in over 10 years! I wonder what technologies are offered now. HAHA. Anwyay...today I'm going to finally charge my phone that gave up on me. then burn tocca while i debate which new color to paint my nails. Gotta fill out applications too. Dreading..HAHA

Traveling...

Looks like I will be heading down to see a good friend of mine soon!!! Excited!! We are going to party like its 2003!!! I know, we got to hang out in 05 and '11 but still its been too long and we need some girl talk and sweets. Is it weird Im already debating what to pack?HAHA.

Im Missing...

Whole Foods oh how I miss you! I want to just walk into a whole foods right into the snack section and  beauty section and just get lost in the moment. HAHAHA. I just enjoyed my experience so much I can't forget it. I loved all the natural skincare/scented stuff it was like heaven. The employees are ridiculously cool and kind(at least the one I went to was)I want to get my hands on more different brands and try them. Not to mention the more natural chocolate selections....oh man.haha

Today Im just chilling out in a crazy good mood, nails painted in Chanel vamp sipping some casi cielo while I munch some special K and watch my favorite shows! Woke up to the most random crazy dream. I was living with people I don't know. They were limiting my use of Sammy(my phone)and I felt trapped. HAHA. It was like Martha Marcy May Marlene. You know the whole crazy cult stuff.

Anyway...my nails are dark and amazing but Im eyeing some fun bright pinks right now. Im taking notes since I have these gift cards ya know. I may just change my mind and get something random last minute but I also seriously LOVE the Essie Penny Talk. Its such a pretty color I recommend the polish to anyone who likes metallic or copper type colors. So elegant!
Now that I am adding to my collection, I will be giving some colors to my friend. I have friends in the area that love polishes and I feel like everyone wins in this situation. I downsize people get to sample brands. Win-win!

Detox Mode.

Things I've been using and getting ready to try! Im really a big fan of the malin+goetz line right now. I have nothing but great things to say about their grapefruit cleanser. I'd buy it if they'd change their packaging. I like tubes they're much easier without the fuss. If they do that, Im in.
Then of course the Revlon parfumerie polishes. The one not in the picture the green with blue specks is my favorite.

Now that I can no longer drink coffee, eat chocolate or citrus Im kind of in a confused state. So I figured why not surf the net and stop feeling all bad about the situation.HAHA. I can dwell or just try to get over this week of detox. If I'm lucky I'll go two weeks. Atleast I've kept up with my workouts and my new hair rule right?
